From May 15 to 16, in Greece was held the European Championship in freestyle wrestling among boys under 15 years old. All the performances of freestyle wrestlers came to an end. The Armenian national team participated in the tournament with 16 wrestlers and won 4 medals - 1 gold and 3 bronze. The champion was Yeghishe Mosesyan in the weight category up to 68 kg.

At the last tournament of the European U15 Championship (2023), the Armenian team won 6 medals. The result is certainly worse than last year, but it can be noted that the Armenian national team did not have a single training camp before the European Championship, and this fact is enough to understand why there are no high results. And what is the reason for the absence of training camps is already the problem of the Wrestling Federation of Armenia.
