Andranik Hakobyan Marukyan was born in Valencia province in Spain. He is a pupil of "Elche" club. Together with the second youth team "Elche U19-2" Andranik won the regional championship of Valencia in 2023. But in the first team "Elche U19" Andranik played rarely. At the beginning of the 2023/24 season he played only three matches in the Spanish U19 Championship, and this winter he moved to a more status team - Valencia U19, where he already played more often.
From February 2024 Andranik Hakobyan played 11 matches and scored 1 goal in the Spanish Under-19 Championship with Valencia U19.
Andranik is considered to be a very physically strong player. He is versatile and can cover several positions on the pitch, his main position is central defender, but he can also play on the flank of the defence, as well as supporting midfielder. Andranik has good technique and excellent first pass.
Earlier Hakobyan was called up to the Armenian youth national team, but he did not appear on the pitch.
