Anush Grigoryan (50 kg), representative of the Armenian national boxing team, defeated Romania's Miheila Budescu in a very tense fight with the score 5-2 in the 1/4 finals and advanced to the semifinals of the European Boxing Championships 2024.
Thus, Anush secured the bronze medal of the tournament. This is the second semifinal for Armenia at this tournament, earlier Narek Manasyan (92 kg) among men made it to the semifinals.
In the semifinals, the Armenian will face Shannon Sweeney of Ireland.
