The Armenian national team scored 132 points at the tournament in Serbia and took the second team place at the European Championship (U17) 2024, which is 17 more than it was last year. Then Armenia took the third place.
Team competition, European U17 Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship:
1. Azerbaijan - 183 points.
2. Armenia - 132 points.
3. Ukraine - 121 points.
4. Georgia - 75 points
5. Hungary - 60 points.
The Armenian wrestlers performed above all praise and won 5 medals - 1 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze. Two more athletes were also close to bronze medals, taking 5th place.

The day after tomorrow, on June 28, a freestyle wrestling tournament will start in Novi Sad. Last year, the Armenian U17 wrestlers took the first team place with 8 medals at the tournament in Albania.
