The Armenian youth boxing team participated in the international tournament dedicated to the memory of Irakli Abashidze in Georgia.
In addition to Armenia, teams from Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Israel, Cyprus, Poland, and Saudi Arabia also participated in the tournament.
Armenia participated in the tournament with a team of 10 athletes and took first place in the team standings, winning 10 medals:
7 gold 2 silver 1 bronze
The champions were: Vagharshak Keyan (48 kg), Artur Avetikyan (54 kg), Erik Arstamyan (57 kg), Alik Kochoyan (67 kg), Marat Mikaelyan (71 kg), David Simonyan (92 kg), and Misak Tepanyan (92 kg).
