Today, on May 2, the traditional youth tournament "Victory Day" in u-17 age category took place in St. Petersburg, where Armenian wrestlers managed to win 5 gold and 3 silver medals. The champion composition of the U-17 team of Armenia participated in the tournament.
Armen Papikyan (48kg), Ashot Glulnazaryan (51kg), Gagik Ghazaryan (55kg), David Davtyan (60kg) and Andranik Jahetyan (110kg) became the champions of the tournament.
The silver medalists were Artak Akhabekyan (45kg), Sahak Hovhannisyan (80kg) and Narek Ikilikyan (92kg).
The next tournament of our team will be the European Championship, which will be held at the end of June in Serbia.
