The world licence tournament in freestyle wrestling started in Istanbul. Four athletes from Armenia will compete for Olympic vouchers.
Earlier there was qualification in Greco-Roman wrestling, where Armenian wrestlers failed to win the quota. In freestyle wrestling Armenia has 2 licences so far - Arsen Harutyunyan (57 kg) and Vazgen Tevanyan (65 kg), the other 4 quotas can be obtained today.
The finalists of the tournament and the winner between two bronze medallists will get licences. The finalists will be determined today, 11 May, and the bronze medallists tomorrow, 12 May.
