Three archers from Armenia will compete at the tournament in individual and team events, these are: Andrei Hovhannisyan, Vasil Shahnazaryan and Hamlet Poghosyan. Now they are having a training camp in Georgia, preparing for the tournament.
Recently these same archers participated at the European qualification in Germany (7-12 May), but did not get the quota, in the team tournament they took the 15th place, while the quota was given to 3 teams.
At the tournament in Antalya there is a big chance to win the quota in the team. There will still be played 15 team quotas. 9 quotas will be given to the teams ranked 1-9 at the qualification in Antalya, 6 more quotas will go to the remaining countries with the best rating. Armenia is currently 85th in the ranking.
