Armenian sambo wrestlers won 9 medals at the European Youth and Junior Championships 2024 - 2 golds, 4 silvers, 3 bronzes.
Alex Khachatryan (58 kg) became the champion among youth, and Anna Ayvazyan (50 kg) became the champion among youth.
In total, the Armenian adult and youth national teams won 18 medals (3 gold, 8 silver and 7 bronze) at the tournament in Serbia. Let us remind that earlier Mais Nersisyan became the champion among adults.
This is the 4th team place. Armenia lost in the medal standings to Russia, Ukraine and Georgia.
