The fourth day of the Olympic Wrestling Games will be held in Paris on August 8, and today freestyle wrestlers in the 57 kg and 86 kg weight categories will take to the mat for the first time.
The Armenian wrestlers have been in Paris for several days now and are eagerly awaiting their appearance on the mat. Today, Arsen Harutyunyan will begin his performance in the 57 kg weight category.
Arsen will meet strong opponents whom he is capable of defeating. In the first fight, he will wrestle with Mexican Roman Bravo Yanga. In case of victory in the 1/4 finals, his opponent will be the winner of the pair Gulomjon Abdullayev from Uzbekistan - European champion from Azerbaijan Aliabbas Rzazade.
If Arsen successfully overcomes these opponents, in the semi-finals he will probably meet American Spencer Lee, who impressed at the world license tournament and is determined to win Olympic gold this year.
And Vazgen Tevanyan will begin his performances on August 10.
