The fourth day of the Olympic Wrestling Games is taking place in Paris on August 8, and today freestyle wrestlers in the 57 kg and 86 kg weight categories took to the mat for the first time.
In the 1/4 finals of the 57 kg weight category, Uzbek wrestler Gulomjon Abdullaev and Armenian athlete Arsen Harutyunyan, four-time European champion and three-time world medalist, met. Harutyunyan was considered the favorite of the fight, but the Uzbek wrestler took the initiative and won with a score of 12:5.
In order for Arsen Harutyunyan to have a chance to fight for the bronze of the Olympic Games, Gulomjon Abdullaev must reach the finals. In the semi-finals, his opponent will be American Spencer Lee, who is in excellent shape and demonstrates outstanding results.
