At the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, 96 gymnasts will compete in the men's program. Only four of them have participated in the previous three Olympics, and Paris 2024 will be their fourth Olympic Games.
This prestigious list includes: Andreas Toba (33 years old, Germany), Max Whitlock (31 years old, Great Britain), Igor Radivilov (31 years old, Ukraine), and Artur Davtyan (31 years old, Armenia). Only these four gymnasts have competed in the last three Olympics and will compete in Paris.
Igor Radivilov and Artur Davtyan will be vying for Olympic gold in vault. The Ukrainian gymnast won a bronze medal in vault at the 2012 London Olympics, while Artur Davtyan won bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
Max Whitlock from Great Britain is the most decorated of these four gymnasts. He has three Olympic golds and three bronzes to his name, having won his medals in pommel horse and floor exercises. Andreas Toba, despite his numerous Olympic appearances, has never made it to the Olympic podium.
Artur Davtyan's results in previous Olympics:
- 2012 — 36th place in all-around.
- 2016 — 11th place in vault.
- 2020 — 3rd place in vault.
Artur Davtyan continues to be one of the leading gymnasts of his generation, demonstrating consistency and high performance over the years. Ahead of him is another opportunity to win Olympic gold and bring glory to his country at the Paris Olympics.
