Kaliningrad Baltika defeated Spartak Moscow 1-0 in the final of the Russian Cup: Way of the Regions. Thanks to this victory, Baltika gained the right to play in the Russian Cup Superfinal.
The Russian Cup Super Final will take place on 2 June at the Luzhniki Stadium. The opponent will be determined in the match between Zenit and CSKA (15 May).
In the game against Spartak, Armenian midfielder Tigran Avanesyan came on as a substitute in the 60th minute. Avanesyan played 11 matches in the Russian Cup and scored 2 goals.
It should be reminded that Baltika are not doing as well in the championship as in the cup. Sergei Ignashevich's team risks relegation to the First League.
