Italian publication Calciomercato.com confirms Genoa's interest in Armenian national team player Eduard Spertsyan, whom we have written about earlier.
Spertsyan, a 24-year-old footballer, is known for his versatility. He can effectively play as an attacking midfielder, on the flank, or in the role of a central midfielder. His performance on the field speaks for itself: in the last season of the Russian championship, he scored 11 goals and provided 7 assists in 29 matches. Thanks to these characteristics and his Armenian citizenship, he is often compared to another well-known Armenian footballer, Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Spertsyan's future is still undetermined, but the fact that several major Italian clubs are following his career indicates the high level of his play and potential for further growth.
