On August 15, the first day of the Russian Freestyle Wrestling Championship among athletes under 23 started in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. Today, wrestlers in the weight categories of up to 57, 70, 86 and 125 kg took to the mat. Preliminary and semi-final fights were held, the results of which determined the first final pairs in the listed weight categories.
