The new head coach of the Kazakhstan national team, Stanislav Cherchesov, will not be present at the match against the Armenian national team, which will take place in Yerevan on June 7.
The team will be led by the assistant head coach, Ruslan Baltiev. This was announced by Stanislav Cherchesov during his press conference.
"We have now talked with the leadership of the Kazakhstan Football Federation and decided that I will not participate in the upcoming matches. My coaching staff has just learned about my appointment, and we need time. I cannot fly to Armenia as I was not planning to take over the national team at this time. I plan to go to Hungary for the match against Azerbaijan to see the team in person. It is clear that I will not participate in the setup and training process. Ruslan Baltiev will complete these two games. The new coaching staff will start working after the June FIFA date," said Stanislav Cherchesov.
