Armenia's representative Darya Malysheva failed to qualify for the Olympic Games 2024. At the European Fencing Licence Tournament in Luxembourg, the 20-year-old athlete stopped at the stage of 1/16 finals in foil.
Malysheva took 3rd place in the group stage and made it to the play-offs, where she lost to a Turk with a score of 9-15 in 1/16.
It was the last chance to win the Olympic quota in fencing, only the winners of the tournament will get licences, the other quotas have already been distributed according to the world ranking (top-50).
Earlier, another Armenian representative Emma Poghosova also failed to qualify.
