Boxer Davit Chaloyan will be the flag bearer of Armenia at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, according to the Armenian Boxing Federation.
Together with Chaloyan, either shooter Elmira Karapetyan or swimmer Varsenik Manucharyan will carry the Armenian flag.
At the previous Games in Tokyo, the Armenian flag was carried by boxer Hovhannes Bachkov and swimmer Varsenik Manucharyan. The full list of Armenian flag bearers in Olympic history can be viewed HERE.
Davit Chaloyan (+92 kg) is the only boxer who will represent Armenia at the Paris Olympics. He will begin his performances at the tournament on July 29.
