The first round of the Conference League qualification has concluded, resulting in both Armenian clubs "Noah" and "Urartu" successfully advancing to the next round.
For "Noah," this is the first time in history they have advanced to the next round. The club, founded in 2017, previously participated in European competitions twice: in the 2020/21 season, they lost to "Kairat" (Kazakhstan), and in the 2021/22 season, they lost to Finnish KuPS.
For "Urartu," this is the first time in 19 years they have advanced to the next round! In 2005, when the club was still called "Banants," they defeated "Lokomotiv" (Tbilisi) in the UEFA Cup but then lost to Ukrainian "Dnipro."
Match Results:
"Noah" defeated North Macedonian "Shkendija" with an aggregate score of 4:1 (2:0, 2:1). In the away match, the Armenian team secured a victory in the 90th minute with a score of 2-1. Alexander Milkovich and Virgile Pinson scored for "Noah."
In the second round, "Noah" will play against the club from Malta, "Sliema Wanderers."

Thus, all four clubs from Armenia will play in the second round of the Conference League qualification. "Noah" and "Urartu" will be joined by "Pyunik," which was eliminated from the Champions League, and "Ararat-Armenia," which starts only from the second round.
