Switzerland took the lead in the 28th minute thanks to a goal by Dame N'Doye. However, Germany did not give up and managed to equalize in stoppage time with a header by Füllkrug in the 90+2 minute. This result allowed Germany to take first place in the group with 7 points, while Switzerland, with 5 points, finished second.
Scotland 0-1 Hungary
Another crucial match in this group was also filled with drama. In the middle of the second half, Hungary's forward Barnabás Varga suffered a severe injury and was carried off on a stretcher. However, Hungary pushed on with determination and secured a minimal victory over Scotland thanks to a goal by Csoboth in the last minute of the match (90+10 minute).
