Two undefeated boxers, Jahongir Rasulov (7-0-1) and Gor Khachatryan (5-0-1), met in the ring at the RCC Boxing Promotions tournament in Yekaterinburg. The eight-round bout in the 63.5 kg weight class was marked by high intensity and dramatic moments.
The boxers started at a moderate pace, sizing each other up and mostly working from a distance. Rasulov tried to take the lead early in the fight, but Khachatryan responded to every attack. In the beginning of the second round, the boxers began to open up and exchange blows, with Rasulov landing a powerful right hook to score the first knockdown of the fight.
In the next two rounds, Khachatryan tried to take control, working more aggressively and winning various exchanges. However, towards the end of the fourth round, Rasulov scored another knockdown, this time with a series of body shots that sent Khachatryan to the canvas once again.
The second half of the bout was filled with exciting exchanges. Both fighters aimed to dominate each round and every exchange, as the fight remained very close.
Ultimately, the fight went the full scheduled distance. The judges could not determine a winner and declared a draw.
