Officially: The "Nairi" stadium, which was the home stadium of "Alashkert," has been bought by the owner of "Urartu", Jevan Cheloyants.
The old stadium on this site will be demolished, and a new stadium will be built. Cheloyants himself announced this in an interview with the club's press service. According to the owner of "Urartu," the "Nairi" stadium did not belong to the "Alashkert" club but was merely its home stadium. It is currently unknown where "Alashkert" will hold its matches now.
Jevan Cheloyants also added that "Urartu" will now have an academy branch in the city of Stepanavan.
