The legendary Giorgio "The Doctor" Petrosyan (106-3-2) defeated Sergio Sanchez by unanimous decision of the judges at PetrosyanMania Gold Edition in Milan and to win the Wako Pro K-1 championship belt.
The fight went the full distance of 5 rounds and ended with a victory for 38-year-old Giorgio Petrosyan. This was the kickboxing legend's first fight after a 2-year hiatus. Sergio Sanchez had previously defeated Giorgio's brother Armen Petrosyan, but "The Doctor" avenged his brother and returned the championship belt to his family.
