On the eve of Wimbledon, Avanesyan showed up for the tournament in Eastbourne. In qualifying, Elina proved to be stronger than Danish Towson and Croatian Martic, winning two victories with a score of 2:0. However, in the first round, the Armenian tennis player refused to continue fighting in a duel against Karolina Mukhova from the Czech Republic.
