Armenian tennis player Elina Avanesyan (WTA 60) concluded her performances at the Cincinnati Open, losing in the round of 16 to the world's 17th-ranked player, Liudmila Samsonova, in three sets with a score of 6-4, 0-6, 3-6.
During the main draw of the tournament, Elina Avanesyan secured two victories, defeating Bianca Andreescu and Jelena Ostapenko. Following this, she is expected to rise in the WTA rankings to around 52nd or 53rd place.
