Armenian athletes Elmira Karapetyan and Varsenik Manucharyan held a meeting with fans at the Olympic House of Armenia in Paris after their performances at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Swimmer Varsenik Manucharyan placed 26th in the 100-meter butterfly event, while shooter Elmira Karapetyan finished 9th in the 10-meter air pistol shooting event. Additionally, Elmira participated in the Olympic torch relay.
Varsenik Manucharyan: "The presence of the fans was very inspiring. We could hear their support as we prepared for the swim. It was very impressive; honestly, I was amazed. I am also pleased with my performance. I did everything I could."
Elmira Karapetyan: "Participating in the Olympic torch relay was very motivating for me; it was incredibly exciting. As for the competitions, nothing hindered me, and I showed a world-class result. Shooting is a very unpredictable sport."
