The representative of Armenia, Elmira Karapetyan, took 9th place out of 45 participants in the 10m air pistol shooting competition at the 2024 Olympics.
Unfortunately, Elmira was just one point short of reaching the final. With a score of 576-14x, she lost to China's Ransin Jianyu, who scored 577-13x. The qualification winner was Veronika Major from Hungary.
At the previous Olympics in Tokyo, Elmira Karapetyan took 18th place.
Today, Armenian gymnasts Artur Davtyan and Vaagn Davtyan will also compete.
