The Olympic wrestling competitions start in three days. At the moment, many teams are starting the final stage of training camps and preparing to fly to Paris. In Paris, we will see a 21-year-old Dagestani wrestler who is the youngest and one of the strongest in his weight category. This is Akhmed Tazhudinov, who competes for Bahrain.
At 21, he has already become a two-time Asian champion, winner of the Asian Games and world champion in the 97 kg weight category. At the World Championships, he demonstrated that he is not afraid of famous opponents. In the quarterfinals, he defeated the American wrestler, Olympic champion Kyle Snyder, in the semifinals he defeated the Russian wrestler and two-time Olympic champion Abdulrashid Sadulaev, and in the finals he left no chance for the Azerbaijani wrestler Magomedkhan Magomedov.
Akhmed is a graduate of the Dagestani wrestling school named after Abdulrashid Sadulaev. This explains his success and strength, thanks to which he has already earned recognition in the world of wrestling. At the moment, we can confidently say that he has every chance of reaching the final of the main tournament of the quadrennial.
