Officially: The 32-year-old midfielder of the Armenia national team, Wbeymar Angulo, has signed a contract with the club "Malut United FC" from the top Indonesian league — Liga 1.
Angulo is a naturalized player of the Armenia national team who is Colombian by nationality. Wbeymar started his playing career in Colombia, playing a number of matches for local clubs, then moved to Mexico, and from there, in 2015, he moved to Armenia, specifically to "Gandzasar". After living in Armenia for 5 years, Wbeymar obtained Armenian citizenship and debuted for the national team in August 2020.
Angulo's last club was "Alashkert", where he played on loan from "Ararat-Armenia". Wbeymar spent 9 seasons in Armenia and played 214 matches in the Armenian championship. He also has 10 matches and 2 goals for the Armenia national team.
Wbeymar Angulo signed a 1-year contract with "Malut United FC". Last season, "Malut United" took 3rd place in Liga 2 and was promoted to the top division.
