Officially: Ararat-Armenia football club has signed a contract with 26-year-old winger of the Belgian club Lierse, Eric Ocansey.
Ocansey's last club was Lierse, which represents the second division of Belgium. During his career, the footballer mainly played for Belgian teams: Eupen, Kortrijk, and Waasland-Beveren.
Eric Ocansey played for a long time in the Belgian First Division for Eupen and Kortrijk. In total, he played 127 matches and scored 16 goals in the Jupiler Pro League. In his last season for Lierse, the Ghanaian scored 6 goals and provided 1 assist in 27 matches.
Eric Ocansey is Ararat-Armenia's first official transfer of this summer. Defenders Cassio Scheid (Malut United, Indonesia), Alemao, Leo, Davit Terteryan, midfielders Adriano Castanheira (Malut United, Indonesia), Wbeymar Angulo (Malut United, Indonesia), Artyom Avanesyan (Noah, Armenia), Nikolay Kipiani, and forward Mohamed Yattara have already left the team.
