Armenian national team representative Gevorg Baghdasaryan (52kg) became the winner of the European Wushu Championship 2024 in the Light Sanda category among juniors under 17.
In the final the Armenian athlete defeated Azerbaijan's Elchin Muradov (2-1) and became the winner of the tournament.
In the course of the tournament in Stockholm, Gevorg Baghdasarn also defeated representatives of Andorra and Romania.
This would be the first final for Armenia, today there will be 8 more finals with the participation of Armenian athletes.
