Gevorg Tarakhchyan, a striker of FC Urartu, shared his impressions of his first call-up to the Armenian national team via his club's social networks.
Alexander Petrakov included the 21-year-old footballer in the application form for the friendlies against Slovenia and Kazakhstan.
"I am very happy that one of my long-awaited dreams came true and I was called up to the Armenian national team. I think I played good matches in the Urartu squad and it gave a result. My goal is to play for the national team and help the team," said Gevorg Tarakhchyan.
In the current season, the vice-captain of the Armenian national youth team has played 30 matches, scored 3 goals and made 4 assists.
