In the semi-final of the Hungarian Cup, Ferencvaros defeated Nyiredygaz 2-1 and progressed to the final. The decisive goal in this meeting was scored by Armenian national team striker Edgar Sevikyan.
Edgar entered the field in the 74th minute with the score 0-1 in favour of Nyiredygaz. In the 85th minute Ibrahim Cisse levelled the score and Edgar Sevikyan scored the winning goal in the 89th minute. For Sevikyan, this is his second goal for the Hungarian club.
Ferencvaros will play in the Hungarian Cup final against Paks on 15 May.
