FC Baltika made it to the final of the Russian Cup (Way of the Regions). The team from Kaliningrad defeated Rostov 1-0 in the semi-final. The only goal in the match was scored by Armenian midfielder Tigran Avanesyan.
The 21-year-old Armenian footballer opened the scoring in the match on the 4th minute, and this goal turned out to be the winning one for Baltika. Sergei Ignashevich's team will play Spartak Moscow in the final.
Tigran Avanesyan played in this game from the first minute and spent all 90 minutes on the pitch. The goal against Rostov was Tigran's second goal of the season, both of which he scored in the Russian Cup matches.

Let us remind you that Avanesyan made his debut for the Armenian national team in a friendly match against Czech Republic on 26 March, before that he played only in the youth national team. In the current season on his account 6 matches in the RPL, as well as 9 matches and 2 goals in the Russian Cup.
