Undefeated Armenian boxer from Volgograd Gor Khachatryan (6-0) knocked out previously undefeated Azerbaijani boxer Seymur Isayev (12-1) at the IBA Champions Night boxing event in Ufa.
On April 20, the Armenian and the Azerbaijani opened the professional boxing tournament in Ufa. The bout was expected to be very competitive, both had not lost before. The first round Gor Khachatryan was shooting, but Isaev was more active and won the round.
In the second round Khachatryan found his distance, waited for the moment and hit his jaw, sending his opponent into a knockdown. Isayev quickly got up, but in 30 seconds he was back in the ring, but already knocked out.
