Armenian representative Gurgen Madoyan (71 kg) unfortunately lost in his 4th fight at the Olympic qualification in Bangkok.
At the stage of 1/8 finals Madoyan lost to Moldavian Vasila Chebotari by unanimous decision of judges. Although at the tournament in Italy Gurgen defeated him 5-0.
Olympic qualification is over for Madoyan, he had three convincing victories in Bangkok. A very busy schedule prevented Gurgen from achieving his goal, by draw he was one of the few to start from the 1/64 finals. He fought almost every day, and before today's fight he fought yesterday.
Let us remind that today in the Armenian national team Davit Chaloyan (+92kg) and Ani Hovsepyan (66kg) won.
