UFC No. 1 ranked lightweight Arman Tsarukyan (22-3) and No. 10 ranked middleweight Hamzat Chimaev (13-0) will serve as captains on the third season of Hype Reality, a pop MMA show. The principle of the project is similar to UFC's The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). Participants are divided into two teams, live in the same house and train in the gym.
Tsarukyan defeated Charles Oliveira (33-10) by split decision of the judges (28-29, 29-28, 29-28). The fight took place April 13 at UFC 300 at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Ga.
And Chimaev's next fight will be at UFC Fight Night, against Whittaker, on June 22nd.
