On May 17-18, Samara hosted the international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament among young men “Novaya Vysota - 2024” in memory of honored builder and philanthropist Igor Nayvalt. 313 wrestlers from 11 countries and 37 regions of Russia took part in the competition.
Armenian athletes also participated in this competition and won 7 gold medals, 3 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medal.
