Head coach of the Armenian national boxing team Karen Aghamalyan summarised the results of the European Championships 2024. As a reminder, Armenian boxers won 7 medals - 2 silver and 5 bronze.
SILVER - Baregam Harutyunyan (48kg).
SILVER - Narek Manasyan (92 kg).
BRONZE - Artur Bazeyan (57 kg).
BRONZE - Artur Sahakyan (60 kg).
BRONZE - Ararat Harutyunyan (67 kg).
BRONZE - Anush Grigoryan (50 kg).
BRONZE - Ani Hovsepyan (70 kg).
"The European Championship in Serbia is over. We performed well - two silver and five bronze medals, Armenia has never had such a result. It could have been better. In the finals we saved Narek Manasyan, who will have difficult fights. In the overall standings among 35 countries we became fourth in men's and fifth in girls' competitions. Our Baregam Harutyunyan created a sensation. Patience and labour will overcome everything. That was yesterday, and today we return home and again prepare for the last Olympic tournament in Thailand. I thank the Boxing Federation and everyone who cheered and worried for us," Karen Aghamalyan wrote in his social networks.
