On August 16, the RCC Fair Fight professional kickboxing tournament took place in Yekaterinburg, where three athletes of Armenian nationality participated: Misak Karkaryan, Monte Kevnakszyan, and Ovsep Aslanyan.
Monte Kevnakszyan (3-0) defeated Vladimir Kuzakov (0-1) in an extra round based on the judges' decisions.
Misak Karkaryan (3-0) defeated Nikita Merkulov (1-1) with a spectacular knockout in the first round.
Unfortunately, Muay Thai world champion Ovsep Aslanyan did not have a successful debut in the professional ring. He lost to China's Liu Junxiao by judges' decision.
