After defeating Charles Oliveira at UFC 300, Arman Tsarukyan gave an interview to the legendary Daniel Cormier, who asked about freestyle fighter Grigor Cholakyan.
- Why were there so many Armenians at the T-Mobile arena, so many Armenian flags. Did you put everybody on an airplane and send them here?
- There are a lot of Armenians living in Los Angeles. Also, about 200 of my friends came from Russia, and they also brought flags with them. When I see an Armenian flag, I have nothing left but to win, it motivates me a lot. I want them to be proud of me.
- There is a group of great young wrestlers in Los Angeles. They have a lot of respect for you.
- Yeah, I've been there.
- There's a guy named Grigor Cholakian, he's going to go to Stanford and wrestle there. He's very good, he's a tough nut to crack.
- Yeah yeah, I fought him a couple times.
Next, Cormier listens admiringly to a story about a fight with a fan.
