On August 2, the 2024/25 Armenian Premier League season kicked off with one match. Yerevan BKMA hosted Gyumri's "Shirak."
BKMA played with ten men from the 18th minute when defender Argishti Petrosyan received a straight red card. This helped "Shirak" secure their first victory of the season.
The match ended with a 2-0 victory for "Shirak." The author of the first goal in the match and the first goal of the season was 24-year-old forward Leva Mryan. The second goal was scored by Razmik Hakobyan with a direct free kick.
