Levon Julfalakyan, a legendary figure in Armenian wrestling, has been officially inducted into the World Wrestling Federation Hall of Fame. This significant event took place at a ceremony organized by the International Wrestling Federation at the House of Wrestling in Paris. The event was attended by high-profile guests, including UWW President Nenad Lalovic and representatives of the Wrestling Federation of Armenia.
In his speech, Julfalakyan noted that this moment is the culmination of his many years of work as both an athlete and a coach.

Julfalakyan's sports achievements are impressive. He won a gold medal at the 1988 Olympic Games and became the world and European champion in 1986. After ending his athletic career in 1999, Julfalakyan began coaching the Armenian national Greco-Roman wrestling team. Under his guidance, Artur Aleksanyan became the 2016 Olympic champion, and his son, Arsen Julfalakyan, won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics. His students, Roman Amoyan and Yuri Patrikeev, also received bronze medals, while Migran Arutyunyan became a silver medalist.
