Armenian representative Marat Achemyan (45 kg) became the European champion in Greco-Roman wrestling among boys under 17 years old.
Achemyan won all his fights at the tournament ahead of schedule and did not lose a single point. In the final, the Armenian wrestler defeated Russian Aslanbek Kostoev ahead of schedule with a score of 10-0.
