MMA fighter of Georgian-Armenian descent, Mikhail Sazhinyan, will compete in Dana White's Contender Series 2024 for a UFC contract.
Sazhinyan's opponent will be Brazilian Bruno Lopez, who has experience competing in LFA. Last year, Lopez already fought in the Contender Series but lost to Brendson Ribeiro.

Sazhinyan is the champion of the Georgian promotion GFC. In his last fight, he knocked out Christian Torres (16-13) and won the GFC Light Heavyweight Championship belt.
