Today, 8 May, the draw for the world Olympic qualification in Greco-Roman wrestling took place in Istanbul. We present you the tournament draw and rankings.
The tournament will start on 9 May and end on 12 May. First on the carpet will be Greco-Roman wrestlers in all six Olympic weights: 60, 67, 77, 87, 97 and 130kg.
There will be no finals and no medals at the tournament, the bouts for bronze are only a condition to get to the bout for the quota. In total there will be 3 quotas in each weight - 2 finalists + winner among bronze medallists.
Online broadcasting of the tournament will be on our TELEGRAM CHANNEL, as well as on the UWW website by pre-payment.
Armenia already has three Olympic quotas in 67kg, 77kg and 97kg. In other weights at the tournament in Istanbul will be the last chance to win a licence. 3 Greco-Roman wrestlers will compete in Armenia at the tournament in Istanbul.
