Armenian tennis player Elina Avanesyan commented on her first career final in the WTA 250 series.
At the WTA tournament in Romania, the 21-year-old Armenian won 4 matches and reached the WTA final for the first time in her career, where she lost to Mirra Andreeva in three sets, retiring in the third set due to injury.
"My first WTA final will always remain in my heart. Thank you to everyone who supported and helped me on the way to this achievement. I will continue to work hard and become stronger," Elina Avanesyan wrote after the WTA Iasi final.
