Narek Manasyan (92 kg) became the first boxer of the Armenian national team to make it to the semifinals of the European Boxing Championships 2024.
On April 22, only Narek Manasyan among men and three girls boxed from Armenia. Unfortunately, no one among the women's team was able to make it to the next stage today. Lusine Gevorgyan (48 kg), Lilit Dallakyan (54 kg) and Elida Kocharyan lost in their fights.
Narek Manasyan defeated Andrei Zaplitnia of Moldova in a very dominating manner and advanced to the semifinals of the European Boxing Championships 2024. Thus, Narek secures Armenia's first medal at the tournament.
