Armenian boxer Narek Manasyan (92 kg) very confidently dealt with Macedonian Boban Ilioski and made it to the 1/8 finals of the Olympic qualification.
Narek won by unanimous decision of the judges, having an overwhelming advantage in all three rounds.

Manasyan's next fight is tomorrow, 31 May, against Belgian Victor Schelstrat, who previously competed at 86kg and lost to Rafael Hovhannisyan at the 2022 European Championships, but he is a bronze medallist at the 2021 World Championships at 86kg.
Manasyan needs two more wins to qualify for the Olympic quota.
