Vachagan Hovhannisyan, 3-time European Armwrestling Champion, had financial difficulties in order to go to the European Armwrestling Championships 2024, which will be held in Slovakia from 2 to 12 May.
The Armenian government stopped supporting this sport, in which Armenia has a glorious history in the international arena.
We decided to organise a fundraiser in our Telegram channel Sportball24 and collected the necessary amount to pay for the tickets and accommodation.
Now Vachagan Hovhannisyan is already in Bratislava and will perform at the tournament on 10 and 11 May.
Ashot Adamyan and Azat Srapyan will also compete in the Armenian adult national team.
